DESCRIPTION:Student Profile: Rising 12th grade (Class of 2027\, Direct Medical Applicants – BS/MD\, BS/DO) \nSchedule: \n\nThe camp consists of 6 summer sessions\, divided into Semester 1 and Semester 2.\nThere is a 7-week break between Semester 1 and Semester 2. During this time\, students will complete assigned homework to prepare for the next phase. They will continue to work 1-on-1 with their assigned counselor.\nSemester 2 starts after the Common Application opens on August 1st. Students Shift Focus to Completing their actual college applications.\n\nSemester 2 – Application Completion\, Insights and Next Steps (7:30-9:00pm EST) \n\nSession 1 – Tuesday\, Aug 4\, 2026\nSession 2 – Tuesday\, Aug 11\, 2026\nSession 3 – Tuesday\, Aug 18\, 2026\n \n\nTopics Covered: \n\nMoon Prep Students can attend all live sessions at no additional cost\, as this program is included in your fee.\nBS/MD Application Components: Students will become familiar with key elements of the BS/MD and BS/DO application process\, including how to approach medical-focused essay questions\, traditional vs. MMI interview formats\, CASPer test preparation\, and other important application Components.\nThe Common App and school-specific applications: Students will work through the Common Application while also learning to navigate college-specific applications and additional platforms.\nEssay Development: Students will draft and refine their personal statement while getting an early start on supplemental essays.\nEssay management and tracking: Students will become familiar with Moon Prep’s essay management system to organize essays\, monitor deadlines\, and stay on track throughout the application process.\nThe week-by-week schedule can be found here.\n\nLearn More \n\n
